How To Change/Write IMEI On MTK Android Devices Using MTK Engineering Mode App

This is a tutorial on How To Change/Write IMEI On MTK Android Devices Using MTK Engineering Mode App.

• Download latest Mtk Engineering Mode App v2.0 here.
• Install App.
• Lauch App.
• Select MTK ENGINEERING.
• Under Common Data Service.
• Select Radio Information.
• Under Connectivity.
• Select CDS Information.
• Under Phone Information.
• Select Phone 1 (for sim 1 imei).
• Select Phone 2 (for sim 2 imei).
• Choose AT+EGMR=1,7,"" (to change sim 1 imei).
• Choose AT+EGMR=1,10,"" (to change sim 2 imei).
• Write a 15 digit imei (serial number) of your choice in between "-"

eg: AT+EGMR=1,7,"35xxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
eg: AT+EGMR=1,7,"350012345678910"

• Click the SEND AT COMMAND button.
• Restart your device and dail *#06# to check if the imei has being written.
